A very strong source of organic nitrogen (12%), Dried Blood Meal can be used as a compost starter to accelerate the breakdown of organic waste. Jump starts "cool" piles and provides plants with the nutrients they need to develop a rich, dark green leaf color.

How to Use:
Mix 1-1/4 cups for every 25 lbs of material.

Caution: Use sparingly, excess nitrogen will be released as smelly ammonia gas.
