A superior-grade coconut coir product! Produced using quality coconut fiber (no dust or long strands), Coco-Dan Coir Croutons have a porous structure for easy root penetration and better water holding capacity. Harvested inland from the rich soils and fresh waters of the Kurunegala region of Sri Lanka, it has a lower salt content than coconut coir harvested in coastal regions.
Mix with heavy soils to improve aeration and drainage (the croutons keep their shape even when wet!) or simply plant directly into it. Great as a mulch or bottom, drainage layer in container plants, too!
