A unique seed-starter plug derived from composted tree bark. Rapid Rooter is manufactured using a scientifically-controlled process that yields large populations of beneficial microbes. These naturally-occurring microbes colonize young roots, helping plants resist disease while maximizing nutrient uptake. Vigorous roots make stronger plants. Great for soil and hydroponic applications! 50-Pack replacement plugs (sold separately). Directions for Use: Starting Seeds -- Drop seeds into the small hole located on the top of the plug and place the tray in a dark area until sprouting occurs. Then move the tray into a lighted area and grow until seedlings are large enough to transplant. Cuttings -- Place a cutting far enough into the plug so that it will stand upright on its own. Place the tray under proper lighting and transplant once multiple roots develop.

I wanted to start some herbs indoors this year and the Rapid Rooter plugs helped me get started. The microbes in the tree bark helped the roots tremendously and next thing I knew I had healthy seedlings to replant.

much easier than potting soil, drop seed in hole and water. it comes with the tray and plug holder, you can order more plugs no waste.
