Redworms make composting faster and better! As a worm eats its way through compost, it leaves behind castings, digested organic matter rich in nutrients and microbes. A single worm produces its weight in casting a day. The beneficial microbes (as many as 10,000 kinds) aid plant growth, help fight off disease and nourish your plants with readily absorbed nutrients that keep them healthy and productive. Worm casting fortify your compost with unique, super-charged organic matter. Directions for Use: Apply 5 to 10 lbs. per 100 square feet and work into the soil or top-dress with a 1/2" deep layer around the base of your favorite plants. May also be mixed with potting soils to create a rich, fertile blend.

Our Worm Castings are fabulous! Not only are they from our local Montana worm farmer, but all my plants love and thrive from it. Whenever I re-pot any of my plants I always add a few cups to my potting soil have also put it around the shrubs in my yard. Note: Some potting soils already have worm castings in them, so then you wouldn't need to add anymore in.
